Michael Moore’s new climate change movie has been removed from YouTube following a copyright infringement claim by a British environmental photographer.The movie Planet of the Humans, which is produced by Moore but directed by Jeff Gibbs and has been condemned as misleading by climate scientists, allegedly includes a clip used without the permission of snapper Toby Smith, who filed a complaint with the Google-owned video platform.Smith claims several seconds of footage from his Rare Earthenware project detailing the journey of rare earth minerals from Inner Mongolia.Condemning the movie, he tells The Guardian: “I went directly to YouTube rather than approaching the filmmakers because I wasn’t interested in negotiation.
