The Met Office has warned Brits that snowy weather is on its way, expected to hit towards the end of October. Experts have said that "snowy weather in higher parts" of the UK is a possibility as "October falls into November".
On Sunday, October 3, Britain can expect high winds in parts of the country, as Scotland braces for disruption.The Met Office's website explains that disruption to travel is likely this weekend across northeast of Scotland, over Aberdeenshire, Orkney and Shetland.
It states: "Very strong winds likely to bring disruption to travel across mainly coastal regions." The northern Scottish Isles will experience some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport and residents could fall victim to some short term loss of power..
