Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress.

In a witness statement submitted on July 9 as part of Meghan and Harry’s lawsuit against Mail publishers Associated Newspapers, the Duchess urges England’s High Court to prevent the Mail on Sunday from publicizing the names of five friends who spoke to People in early 2019.
