Meghan Markle has for the first time since joining the Royal Family not made Vogue's annual list of their 25 most powerful women.
The Duchess of Sussex, 39, appeared in the esteemed list in both 2018 and 2019 but has this year not made the cut, nor has Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge who also featured in last year's.
Instead, BBC Three's Normal People star Daisy Edgar-Jones has paved the way, alongside Rihanna, make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury and the Queen.
The annual Vogue 25 list selects "the women of the moment who are leading us through 2020 with prescience, power and poise".This year's edition seeks to highlight how, during the coronavirus pandemic, "as priorities shifted so did the spotlight".
