Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's multi-million pound deal with Netflix is "the biggest exploitation of the Royal Family that has been in our lifetime", a royal expert has claimed.

The couple, who quit the royal family earlier this year, have founded an unnamed production company and signed a multi-year deal with the TV streaming giant.

Netflix will reportedly pay the couple to make documentaries and children's programmes, and they will also create their own scripted shows and feature films.

However experts claim the couple only got the top gig due to their royal status, despite saying they wanted to step away from their duties and become financially independent.
