Prince Harry may have paid back the millions used to renovate Frogmore Cottage after getting “irritated” by the response to his Netflix deal, a royal source has claimed.
The bill, thought be £2.4 million for work that took place from 2018-19, was covered by taxpayers through the Sovereign Grant – a fund provided by the government to the monarch every year to cover royal duties.
A spokesman for Prince Harry has since confirmed the Duke of Sussex has reimbursed the grant. It comes after he and wife Meghan Markle announced a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix.
