The couple were gifted the title of Duke and Duchess of Sussex by the Queen after their marriage. However, Piers, 55, who grew up in East Sussex, is adamant the pair should give the title up now they have stepped down as senior royals and have started new careers as movie producers in the US.
He admitted it's good news they have paid back the £2.4 million to the crown for renovations to their Frogmore Cottage home, which now stands empty.
