BBC presenter Andrew Neil has taken aim at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry over comments they made on the future of the Commonwealth.
The accomplished journalist fumed on Twitter "what's it got to do with them?" after the couple said in a video call this week we must acknowledge the "uncomfortable" past of the organisation.
Mr Neil tweeted: "What is it that the Commonwealth has done wrong? And since they don’t live in it, what’s it got to do with them?" It comes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex took part in a virtual summit of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust (QCT) in which they discussed the "uncomfortable" past of the Commonwealth.
