Newcastle youngster Matt Longstaff could be heading to Italy next season. Serie A outfit Udinese have offered him a five-year contract worth around £30,000 a week to join them.
And that's more than 30 times the £800 he is currently on at St James' Park. Toon chief Steve Bruce has been desperate to tie down the younger Longstaff brother to a long-term deal after the midfielder broke through earlier this season.
Longstaff does not want to quit Newcastle but talks have not gone well with the club hierarchy who are ready to give him a big pay rise - but nothing like the terms Udinese have offered.
