Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United pair Marcus Rashford and Daniel James are known for their blistering pace - and it is clear they have been told by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to use it.
The Red Devils have often excelled when playing on the counter attack with Rashford and James carrying the ball up field. And data compiled by The Athletic shows that Rashford and James come in as the top two in the entire Premier League in terms of the average distance they carry the ball when in possession.
Rashford, currently recovering from a back injury which has sidelined him since January, is miles clear with an average of 15.2metres per carry of the ball.
