Police have launched an appeal for information after a man was attacked by a group of six men in Aberdeen.The 53-year-old victim was walking along Balnagask Road in the city when he was approached from behind and assaulted.The group of six then ran off leaving the man injures however he did not require medical attention.The incident happened around 6.55pm on Friday, March 26, near to a junction with Church Street.A manhunt is now in progress to track down those responsible.Police say at the time of the incident one of the suspects, who was of a stocky build, was wearing a blue tracksuit.Another, described as being of a slim build, wore a black tracksuit and a black North Face body warmer.Did you know you can keep up to date with the latest.
