Mandy Moore is breaking her silence on ex-husband Ryan Adams' public apology more than a year after he was accused by multiple women of sexual and emotional abuse.

Over the weekend, the musician penned an essay for the Daily Mail where he apologized for his previous behavior and revealed that he had since become sober.Moore was one of seven women, including singer Phoebe Bridgers, who detailed Adams' "pattern of manipulative behavior" in a February 2019 New York Times piece.

The actress, who split from Adams in 2015 after nearly six years of marriage, characterized actions during their relationship to be "psychologically abusive," per the Times.
