Pedro Pascal has caused the Golden Globes to change their rules. The “Game of Thrones” and “Narcos” actor donned a helmet for his starring role on the Disney+ “Star Wars” saga “The Mandalorian,” which premiered in November 2019.
Previously, that would render him ineligible to compete in the Best Actor – Television Series Drama category. But according to Variety, the Hollywood Foreign Press confirmed Wednesday that Pascal would indeed be eligible for a nomination. “Voice-only performances are not eligible in any acting category,” the HFPA said.
