The Manchester United captain was arrested following an altercation with police on the Greek island of Mykonos on August 21.
He appeared in court in neighbouring Syros on Saturday (August 22) morning and pleaded not guilty to the charges he faces.Police say a file has been opened which includes accusations of "violence against officials, disobedience, bodily harm, insult and attempted bribery of an official".His case was adjourned for a trial until Tuesday.
Maguire will not be required to attend the court hearing.There, he will be represented by Alexis Anagnostakis, one of Greece's top human rights.
