Manchester United have reportedly offered Jadon Sancho the chance to follow in the footsteps of David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo by wearing the number seven shirt if he completes a transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho is expected to leave Dortmund at the end of the season and is a priority transfer target for United, with Chelsea also believed to be in the hunt for his signature.
Reports in Germany suggest Dortmund will allow the England international to leave if their £100million valuation is met. The Mirror believe United are hoping to lure Sancho to Old Trafford by offering him their iconic number seven shirt.
