Manchester United have scaled back on external discussions regarding transfers but are unlikely to diverge from their shortlist of targets.
Fifa announced this week the summer transfer window, initially due to open on June 1, would open at the end of the 2019-20 season and close at the start of next season.
The MEN reported last month United were still working on transfers following the suspension of professional football. The MEN understands United have settled on the positions they want to strengthen, with a winger, a playmaker, and a midfielder on their shortlist.
United are still holding general talks about targets without going into specifics, since there is a desire to finish the season.
