But the city will soon welcome its first Chicago deep dish pizza joint, and it comes from a well-known name on the local restaurant scene.
American Pies will be opening in Brewski's site in the city centre, which previously specialised in poutine. The comfort food experts will now be turning their hand to deep-dish pizzas, where the dough is made with parmesan and garlic butter for a signature crust.
