Manchester's AO Arena is set to undergo a huge £40m revamp starting this summer that will see the venue undergo a complete 're-imagination'.
The works, set to take three years to complete, will see new guest entrances, custom lounges and an upgraded concourse experience introduced to the city centre site.
The developments will also see the standing floor capacity increased and a complete overhaul of the backstage experience for artists and their crew.
Plans have already been jumpstarted according to ASM Global, ahead of many 2022 sell-out shows. The £40m project will 'dramatically enhance' the venue, which is one of the busiest indoor arenas in the world, and boost its capacity from 21,000 to 24,000.
