Two people have been arrested after police spotted them acting suspiciously before throwing a bag full of drugs plus £2,000 of cash into a bush.
The incident happened around 1.45pm last Friday (June 30) on Roscoe Street in St Helens. Police noticed the group before they saw a man throw the cash and at least 30 wraps of what is thought to be crack cocaine and heroin into some nearby bushes, the ECHO reports.
A 17-year-old boy, from Chorley, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drugs, heroin and crack cocaine and acquire/use/possess criminal property.
