Manchester United have agreed a £1.25million fee to sign Jack and Tyler Fletcher from Manchester City. The Fletchers, 16, have spent nine years in the City academy and are both England Under-16 internationals.
Their father, Darren, is the United technical director and played for the United first team between 2003-15. The fee for the Fletchers is not a record at academy level, contrary to a report from overseas.

United anticipate such deals between the Premier League's eminent academies to become more commonplace due to the restrictions imposed by Brexit on signing teenagers aged under 18 from abroad.
