Rio Ferdinand has praised Manchester United's 'efficient' work in the transfer market following confirmation of Rasmus Hojlund's arrival.
Hojlund was presented as a United player ahead of Saturday's pre-season friendly against RC Lens at Old Trafford. The 20-year-old signed a five-year deal with the option of a further 12 months, following the agreement of a £72million deal with Atalanta.
United will pay an initial £64m with £8m of potential add-ons. The Danish international becomes Erik ten Hag's third major signing with this summer's spend topping £160m.
