Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United fans heaped praise on Ander Herrera after Marcus Rashford hailed the combative midfielder. The Spaniard packed his bags in the summer and opted to sign for PSG.
Nevertheless, he was a popular figure at the club and plenty of the Old Trafford faithful were sorry to see him go. After Juan Mata discussed his compatriot during a United Q&A, Rashford posted on Twitter: “My guys” with two heart emojis, followed by “Yo, look at these guys.
Smoooth.” Fans on social media quickly started reminiscing about Herrera’s stint at the club. “We miss Ander,” said one. “My heart, I can’t deal!
Love those two,” added a second. “Bring back Herrera,” commented a third. “Miss this guy. The unsung hero of Man Utd,” said a fourth.
