A man has died following an early hours crash on a roundabout in Salford. The driver was pronounced dead after emergency crews rushed to the scene of the collision at the Regent Road roundabout.

Police say a Ford Galaxy crashed into the central reserve of the roundabout before colliding with a concrete wall. The driver was coming off the M602 at the time, police say. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. The M602 was closed for around seven hours on Sunday morning while investigators worked at the scene.
