A man is in hospital after being injured in an unprovoked axe attack in Nottingham on Friday evening. The victim suffered cuts to to his head and body during the violent assault in the Arnold suburb of the city at roughly 8.50pm.
He told police he noticed three men riding bicycles before one of the them hit him in the head, shoulder and back with the axe.
He was rushed to Queen's Medical Centre for treatment, Nottinghamshire Live reports. It isn't thought his injuries are life altering.
