Manchester City have confirmed Eric Garcia has been released from hospital and the club will continue to monitor the youngster following his sickening collision with team-mate Ederson.
After the coronavirus crisis brought a temporary half to the season in March, reigning champions City resumed their Premier League campaign on Wednesday night with a comfortable 3-0 win over Arsenal.
The only negative on City's return to action after 101 days was a serious-looking injury sustained by Garcia during the latter stages of the clash at the Etihad Stadium.
The 19-year-old defender was taken to hospital after receiving lengthy treatment at the stadium following a heavy collision with goalkeeper Ederson.
