Jamie Carragher feels Manchester City already have England’s best attacker, and believes Raheem Sterling has moved ahead of Harry Kane in that regard.
Having found himself somewhat out of favour at the start of the season at City, Sterling has returned to Pep Guardiola’s side in recent weeks, and reached the landmark of 100 Premier league goals against Wolves last weekend.
The achievement comes after the 27-year-old enjoyed a superb summer with England, having scored three goals during Euro 2020, including winners against Croatia and the Czech Republic.
Kane managed to finish a goal ahead of him at the tournament, and was the subject of intense interest from City during the summer as he failed to push through a move to the Etihad.
