Man arrested after cops swoop on Rutherglen flats following disturbance

dailyrecord.co.ukA man has been arrested following a disturbance at a block of flats in Rutherglen on Wednesday night. Officers from Police Scotland rushed to Chapel Street in the Lanarkshire town at around 7.45pm after reports of concern for a man inside a property.
At least six cop cars were seen in attendance at the scene. When specialist police arrived at the address a 40-year-old man "created a disturbance ".
Officers could be seen carrying shields for their own protection as they removed the male from the property. He was arrested and charged and will appear at court at a later date.
