Two men have been arrested after a six-figure sum of drugs was recovered from cars in Dumfries and Galloway. Cops from Police Scotland were carrying out vehicle stops in the area when two drug hauls of cannabis were discovered.
Road policing officers stopped a grey Toyota Avensis around 11.10am on Saturday, May 9, on the A74(M) northbound carriageway near junction 15 at Moffat.
This led to the discovery of £200,000 worth of cannabis within the vehicle.A 35-year-old man was subsequently arrested and charged in relation to the incident.He appeared at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Monday and was remanded in custody.
