A man has appeared in court accused of raping and attacking a woman. Paul Quinn, 50, has been charged with four offences. He is accused of two counts of rape, one count of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, and a count of choking with intent.
The alleged offences are said to have occurred in Greater Manchester. He was not asked to enter a plea to the charges. The case was transferred to Manchester Crown Court, where a further hearing was scheduled for next month.
