A teenager was chased into a Tesco store and attacked with a suspected machete as two men tried to steal his bike. Merseyside Police were called to the Tesco Express store on Allerton Road in Liverpool on Sunday afternoon (September 15), the ECHO reports.
At around 6.30pm, a 16-year-old boy was reportedly chased into the Allerton Road store by two men. While he was in the store he was attacked with a bladed weapon, believed to be a machete, and suffered cuts to his arms.
The suspected offenders then made off out of the store. They are described as white males, aged between 18-20. READ MORE: Man arrested for drug offences and failing to stop after smashing into car One was wearing a grey tracksuit and one was wearing black.
Police were called to reports of an attempted bike robbery. There were customers in the store at the time but nobody else was injured during the incident.
