Nearly 23 years since its first episode, “Family Guy” continues to be TV’s watering hole for risky, edgy and taboo-busting gags which creator Seth MacFarlane has become known (and perhaps infamous) for.
Case in point: during the last week of its 22nd season, which wrapped in April, the FX animated comedy took fifth place in Neilson streaming with 751 million minutes watched, having become a new chart mainstay during that week.
Of course, the way these millions of fans find and watch “Family Guy” has also changed since the early-aughts, and millennials looking to binge their favorite episodes or college students looking for a dorm favorite may not have cable to watch episodes directly on FX.
