A man has died and two children have been injured in a crash in the southern Cairgorms, Scotland. The one-vehicle collision happened at around 4.20pm Sunday on the A93 at Spittal of Glenshee in Perth and Kinross.
A 23-year-old passenger died at the scene and two children - aged seven and five - were flown to The Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow, for treatment.
The 31-year-old driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries. The road remained closed on Sunday night while officers carried out an investigation.
A police spokesman confirmed the death and told local press the passenger died at the scene. The crash prompted the closure of the road in both directions late Sunday.
