Scots dog owner's heartbreak after beloved pup dies falling through frozen loch

Four-year-old Cockapoo Luke went to chase swans on the frozen loch near Lochmaben, Dumfries and Galloway, at around 1.20pm on Saturday, January 9.

But the pet fell into the water to the horror of heartbroken owner Jennifer MacLean, who immediately called the fire service in a desperate bid to save her beloved pooch.
