MAFS UK star breaks down in tears as he calls police over death threats and apology for joking about co-star’s late dad

MARRIED At First Sight's Thomas Hartley has threatened to call police after receiving abuse from threatening fans online. The 31-year-old star previously caused a storm of controversy online after made a joke about his co-star's late father during a podcast appearance.

The Scouse star upset many members of the cast by making a joke about Jenna's dad when he appeared on the What's Happening in Comedy podcast.

His co-star's father died during Covid and was unable to walk her down the aisle on the show, and Thomas has since issued a grovelling apology.

He said there was "no excuse" for his behaviour and said he will live "eternally with regret" over his comments. He said: “I sincerely apologise for any offence I caused on the podcast.
