The historic St James’s hotel is renowned worldwide for its extra-dry, extra-cold signature cocktail, hailed as the ‘world’s best martini’.
The bar is said to have inspired James Bond’s preferred tipple (author Ian Fleming was a regular), but the Dukes Martini was invented in its current guise in the 1980s, by cocktail supremo Salvatore Calabrese.
