Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Luke Shaw believes Marcus Rashford, Fred and Aaron Wan-Bissaka would be three worthy recipients of the Manchester United Player of the Year award.
Shaw won the award last season after an impressive run of form following the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The defender has continued his form in the current campaign, taking his game to the next level with his place under threat due to the emergence of Brandon Williams.
The former Southampton man revealed that he didn't think he had the best year and admitted there was areas he could improve on.
Shaw believes it's difficult to name one Player of the Year as the season is not yet completed but thinks Marcus Rashford would have won without any doubt had he not suffered a back injury.
