LOVE Island viewers are fuming after Hugo called his time in the villa "tragic" while standing next to his partner Amy. Hugo and Amy were in the bottom at risk of elimination after fans were asked to vote for their favourite couples.

Alongside Sam and Mary, as well as Tyler and Clarisse, the rest of the Islanders were forced to choose which boy and girl to save.

Despite looking like he was guaranteed a stay, the rest of the villa chose Tyler to stay so he could couple up with Kaz - with Mary being saved by the boys.

During the exit interviews, they were asked to sum up their Love Island experience. Hugo answered: "My search for love in there...
