It was the golden age of British gameshows, when larger-than-life quizmasters shouted silly catchphrases and a family living in a high-rise apartment block in Leeds could win a speedboat by chucking a few darts.

Now this new primetime series, presented by Alan Carr, will reboot and supersize five classic formats from the 1980s and 1990s, with contestants hoping to win big.

Filmed before studio audiences in Manchester before lockdown began, each of the hour-long episodes – starting with a Play Your Cards Right celebrity edition – finishes with an all-new endgame.
