Love Island star India Reynolds has asked for ITV bosses to create a "plus 30" series for older contestants after she confessed she felt old enough to be the Islanders' "mum".

It is a well-known fact that ITV producers will only accept contestants aged between 18 and 30 to take part on the show with most of the contestants in their twenties when they take part on the show.

But as the show has grown in popularity, fans have been asking for an older version of the popular ITV2 dating programme to be produced which would allow for a wider range of people to apply to be on the show.
