Lorraine Kelly has opened up about the ‘difficult time’ following her miscarriage in 2001, after the presenter and her husband Steve Smith lost their baby.
The couple share daughter Rosie, 24, who was five-years-old at the time, and Lorraine said it helped her by being open about the loss. ‘That was a really difficult time and I think, yes of course we should absolutely sympathise with the women who go through this, but nobody asked after Steve,’ Lorraine told Giovanna Fletcher this week on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast. ‘Nobody ever said “How are you?” The only people who did, funnily enough, were friends that experienced it themselves and sadly as we know, far too many people experience it.’ The 60-year-old continued: ‘I think we’ve
