Over the weekend, the Mirror revealed how Cummings had travelled from London to Durham with his family at the height of lockdown for 'child care', despite his wife showing symptoms of the coroanvirus.
The Prime Minister addressed the scandal on Sunday night where he told the nation his top advisor was 'acting on a father's instinct.' Speaking on Monday's lunchtime show, the Loose Women panelists discussed how the fallout had affected the mood of the nation and called upon Cummings to 'hold his hands up and apologise.'
