Patients in intensive care could be moved from London to Yorkshire as coronavirus hospitalisations put the NHS under immense pressure, it has been reported.
Requests have been made to transfer patients out of the capital to ICUs at several major hospitals in Yorkshire, the Health Service Journal has reported.

Reports of the transfers come as intensive care units in London and the South East of England surpass their capacity, hitting 114 and 113% respectively on Monday evening, according to leaked NHS data.
