Joe Otterson TV Reporter The upcoming Peacock drama series “Hysteria!” is rounding out its main cast. Anna Camp (“Pitch Perfect” franchise, “True Blood) Emjay Anthony (“Physical,” “Chef”), Chiara Aurelia (“Cruel Summer,” “Luckiest Girl Alive”), Kezii Curtis (“Charm City Kings,” “Secret Headquarters”) and Nikki Hahn (“Magnum P.I.,” “American Housewife”) have all been cast in the series. They join previously announced cast member Julie Bowen. The show was originally ordered at Peacock in August 2022. Per the official series description, “When a beloved varsity quarterback disappears during the ‘Satanic Panic’ of the late 1980s, a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts realize they can capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult by building a reputation as a Satanic metal band, until a bizarre series of murders, kidnappings, and reported ‘supernatural activity’ triggers a leather-studded witch hunt that leads directly back to them.”

Stagecoach 2023, the annual country music festival, returns to its home at the Empire Polo Club grounds in Indio, Calif. from Apr. 28-30. While there are still weekend passes available on the Stagecoach website, you might actually find more affordable tickets on resale sites such as Vividseats. This year’s star-studded lineup features an impressive mix of country, rock and pop stars. Luke Bryan, Kane Brown and Chris Stapleton are headlining the three-day festival, while other bold-faced performers include Jon Pardi, Brooks & Dunn, Old Dominion, ZZ Top and Lainey Wilson. In addition to Bryan, who makes his fourth headlining appearance at this year’s fest, other returnees include EDM artist Diplo, who this year is curating the DJ sets in the dance hall, and celebrity foodie Guy Fieri, whose smokehouse sessions with artists on the bill are a top draw.

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Nominations for the 2023 CMT Music Awards are led by country’s woman of the moment, Lainey Wilson, with four, followed by three apiece for Cody Johnson, newcomer Jelly Roll and the show’s recurring co-host, Kane Brown. For the second year in a row, the three-hour telecast will be getting its premiere network airing on CMT’s big sister network, CBS — along with a livestream on Paramount+ — and for the first time, it will be based out of Austin. The show goes out live from the Moody Center April 2 at 8 p.m. ET on the broadcast network and airs tape-delayed in the same time slot on the west coast. Several days after the broadcast and streaming premiere, the show will appear on its titular network, CMT, as an “extended cut” with 30 minutes of additional material, bringing the running time there to three and a half hours. That expanded edition bows on CMT April 6 at 8 ET/PT.
