This year they are pulling out all the stops with a lineup that comprises the first global event teasing the second season of “Squid Game” with talents in tow, massive celebrations for the 50th anniversary of “Dungeons & Dragons,” and the 40th anniversary of “Tetris” with their respective creators on hand. Lucca’s director Emanuele Vietina spoke to Variety about the event’s theme, which is “The Butterfly Effect,” and why naming a street after the creators of “Dungeons & Dragons” is part of the event’s DNA.
