Liverpool 'stabbing': Mass police response to incident outside city centre hotel

Police are at the scene of an incident outside a Liverpool hotel this evening. Police have confirmed that no one was stabbed, but one man appears to have been taken to hospital after sustaining a head injury.

Two other men were also injured, but appear not badly hurt, according to Shankly Hotel security. Footage on social media shows at least three people lying injured on the floor outside the venue in Liverpool.

One video shows a large group of people, while another shows people lying on the pavement. No injuries have been confirmed at this stage.

One person wrote on Twitter : "Dread my kids going out in town. Too many morons with knives." Have you been affected by this incident?
