Norwich City left-back Jamal Lewis could be just the latest player to go from contemplating life in the Championship to playing in the Champions League with Liverpool.
The Reds are lining up a £10million deal for the 22-year-old Northern Ireland international, who played 28 times this season as the Canaries went straight back down to the second tier under manager Daniel Farke.
Lewis's raiding runs from left-back were a feature of Norwich's play throughout the season, and mark him out at a perfect understudy for Andy Robertson, who himself is a member of growing group of players who were relegated immediately before they made the switch to Anfield.
