Liverpool legend Terry McDermott says he isn't frightened of taking on dementia after revealing he is the latest football great to be diagnosed with the disease.McDermott, who racked up 329 appearances in eight years with the Reds, has announced he is in the early stages of Lewy body dementia after undergoing a series of hospital tests.The 69-year-old's devastating news comes just days after another English football icon, Manchester United hero Denis Law, revealed he too is suffering with dementia.Law's former United team-mate Sir Bobby Charlton is also battling the disease, while Tony Dunne, Bill Foulkes and David Herd were diagnosed before their deaths.But McDermott refuses to let the diagnosis dampen his spirit, insisting he is not.
