Liverpool have reportedly put their valuation of Xherdan Shaqiri down, appearing to favour a loan deal for the forward. The Reds sit top of the Premier League by 25 points, two wins away from the title.
A lot of this is down to the front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino who have 49 goals between this this year.
But one player who has missed out is Sharqiri, with only 174 minutes of league action for the Anfield side. StarSport previously reported that the Reds were hopeful of securing a £28m fee for the forward from Sevilla.
