Liverpool fans gathered outside Anfield to protest against the club’s Fenway Sports Group owners and John W Henry following this week’s European Super League scandal.Late on Sunday night the Reds and 11 other elite-level clubs sent shockwaves rippling through the continent by announcing their intention to break away from UEFA competitions and form a new and exclusive Super League.Given its founding members would be guaranteed entry year on year regardless of sporting merit, fans, pundits, politicians and even royalty unanimously condemned the project, which was deemed a threat to football’s competitive nature.Fans around the world have made their voices heard this week, though, and Liverpool's fanbase made sure they put across their message.
