Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Gerard Houllier would text him offering advice.Houllier, who died at the age of 73 on Monday, was manager at Anfield for six years from 1998.He led the Reds to an FA Cup crown as well as UEFA Cup success before going on to guide Lyon to back-to-back Ligue 1 titles.Klopp took over at Liverpool in 2015 and helped the Reds win their maiden Premier League title last season.And the German has opened up on messages he used to receive from Houllier, following the Frenchman’s death.“It is really, really, really a sad day,” Klopp said. "I didn’t know Gerard too well – I met him a couple of times, but in those few moments he created a relationship with me which was really special.“He is a true Liverpool.
